Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder chose her name after her hometown. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder along with her whole family moved to California's Mendocino County at the age of seven. Ryder was just seven. At the time, there wasn't electricity. Television books were Ryder's only distraction for her time, and she was a voracious reader. Ryder started taking acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre when she turned 12 years old. When she was fifteen, she landed her very first role on the screen in Lucas. Ryder faced bullying in high school. Ryder hoped that her actions could bring change. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. But she continued to pursue her goal. Her breakthrough occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder kept playing successful roles in a variety of films. In 1993, she received an Academy Prize for The Age of Innocence.
