Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor and producer as well as a fashion model. DJ Qualls became famous after his part of Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has appeared in 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared in 22 shows on television, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order etc. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma who was diagnosed at age 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. Two years later, his cancer is now in remission. However, the early treatment caused severe adverse effects on the quality of his life and growth. As he started to act, financially secure, it was the ultimate goal since the experience of poverty was a constant throughout his life. In an interview, he said that if he doesn't enjoy an income that is stable or feels out of control in the world I will feel miserable. He also recalls his early years and wishes to tackle the problem of bullies. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel as well as on the real world. The director admits that they do not have him cast in this role. He'd like to be an uncle one day to be able to devote more time with his child as well as his professional.
