Aaliyah Daniel Haughton shot into fame in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Anything But an Numer. The album, launched when she was only fifteen years old it went Gold. R. Kelly heavily influenced the collaboration and brought her up to the top of the charts. In 1996 she worked alongside Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which featured the hit number one single If You Only Knew. Aaliyah's second album entitled One in a Million, was released in 1996. It contained the number-one hit single"If You Girl Only Knew. Aarti is a combination of Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn for her professional names. Although she began with small TV and movie performances, her acting began becoming more popular in the middle of 2000s. In addition, she has appeared on Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy as well as Grey's Anatomy. She's appeared in many commercials including Volvo's international car producer. The actress currently resides at Los Angeles along with her wife, son and daughter. She also pursues her acting career.
